ICR Website Accessibility Statement

ICR, part of Israel Canada and Ram Living, is a development company marketing residential apartments across the country. The website provides information about the company and its projects. In addition, the site includes a magazine featuring articles from newspapers, webinars, a dedicated contact page with the company’s team, and more.

In recent years, websites have become the primary platform for publishing information and services offered by the company to the general public. We believe that the internet should be available and accessible to everyone, and we feel a strong commitment to providing an accessible website to the broadest possible audience. Through our website, we are committed to offering equal service to every individual, including customers with disabilities. Considerable efforts and resources have been invested in making this website accessible, with the goal of allowing most of the population to use it easily and comfortably and making it more available to people with disabilities. By doing so, the company joins the broader effort to make websites accessible to people with special needs.

The company operates in accordance with the Israeli accessibility standard 5568. To achieve this, we strive to adhere as strictly as possible to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level, established by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), which align with the Israeli standard. These guidelines explain how to make web content accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities. Compliance with these guidelines helps ensure that the website is accessible to blind individuals, people with motor impairments, visual impairments, cognitive disabilities, and more.

This website uses various technologies designed to make it as accessible as possible at all times. We use an accessibility interface that allows users with specific disabilities to adjust the site’s user interface and design it according to their personal needs.

Additionally, the site uses an AI-based application operating in the background to continuously enhance its level of accessibility. This system adjusts the site’s HTML, optimizes functionality and behavior for screen readers used by blind individuals, and improves keyboard navigation for people with motor impairments.

However, it is important to note that, despite our efforts to make all pages accessible, some sections of the site may not yet be fully accessible. We continue to work on improving the website’s accessibility as part of our commitment to making it usable for all individuals, including those with disabilities. We welcome requests for information or suggestions for improvement to help enhance our customer service.

The accessibility implementation for this site was carried out by the web accessibility company “Nagish BeClick” (“Accessible in One Click”).

The website complies, as much as possible, with the requirements of the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 2013. The accessibility adjustments were made according to the recommendations of the Israeli standard (IS 5568) for web content accessibility at the AA level and the international WCAG 2.0 guidelines.
The site provides semantic structure for assistive technologies and supports commonly accepted keyboard navigation patterns. For the best user experience with screen readers, we recommend using the latest version of NVDA. Responsibility for the use and application of accessibility tools on the website lies with the site owners or their representatives, including the displayed content, subject to the software’s terms of use and the company’s privacy policy.

How Accessibility Works on This Website

This website is powered by the accessibility software of “Nagish BeClick” and is operated via a dedicated accessibility server. The software allows the website to comply with WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines. The software is subject to the manufacturer’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, as well as the website owner's privacy policy.

An accessibility menu is available on the site. Clicking the accessibility button opens the menu containing accessibility tools. After selecting a feature from the menu, please allow time for the page to reload.

The software works with major web browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Explorer 10+, Safari, and Opera.

When third-party components or websites are used—such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, external chat services, and others not under our control—accessibility limitations may arise that we are unable to resolve.

Examples of third-party accessibility policies:

Website Accessibility Features

Screen Reader and Keyboard Navigation

Our website implements ARIA attributes (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) and various behavioral adjustments to ensure that blind users using screen readers can read, understand, and interact with the website.

Once a screen reader user enters the site, they immediately receive instructions to activate screen-reader mode for efficient browsing and navigation. The site meets several key requirements for screen-reader compatibility:

Screen Reader Optimization

The system scans the site’s structure from top to bottom to ensure ongoing compatibility, even during updates. We provide screen readers with meaningful data through ARIA attributes, such as:

  • Accurate form labels

  • Descriptions for actionable icons (social media icons, search icons, shopping cart icons, etc.)

  • Form validation cues

  • Element roles (buttons, menus, modal dialogs, etc.)

The system also scans images and provides ALT text based on image-object recognition, and extracts embedded text using OCR.

To activate screen-reader adjustments at any time, users can press Alt + 1. Screen-reader users also receive automatic prompts to enable this mode. These adjustments support JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack.

Keyboard Navigation Optimization

The system adjusts the HTML and adds behavioral scripts to enable full keyboard operation, including:

  • Tab / Shift+Tab navigation

  • Arrow-key menu navigation

  • Esc to close menus

  • Enter/Space to activate buttons and checkboxes

Keyboard users can access skip menus at any time by pressing Alt + 2.
Shortcuts such as M (menus), H (headings), F (forms), B (buttons), and G (graphics) are also supported.

Supported Disability Profiles

  • Epilepsy Safe Profile – disables flashing and unsafe color combinations

  • Vision Impairment Profile – suitable for conditions such as blurred vision, tunnel vision, cataracts, glaucoma, etc.

  • Cognitive Disability Profile – assists users with autism, dyslexia, CVA, and others

  • ADHD Friendly Profile – reduces distractions and improves focus

  • Blind Users (Screen Readers) Profile – optimized for JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack

  • Keyboard Navigation Profile (Motor Impairment) – optimized for Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter navigation

Additional Interface, Design, and Reading Adjustments

  • Font adjustments (size, family, spacing, alignment, line height)

  • Color adjustments (high contrast, inverse, monochrome, custom color palettes)

  • Animation control (ability to stop videos, GIFs, CSS transitions)

  • Content highlighting (links, headings, hover highlights)

  • Mute audio to prevent discomfort for users with hearing devices

  • Cognitive assistance tools (Wikipedia/Wiktionary integrated search)

  • Cursor size/color adjustments

  • Print view mode

  • Virtual keyboard

  • Additional assistive functions
